Angkor Wat Temple is the first place to be visited by while in Cambodia holiday. Located in the northeast of the capital of the Khmer Empire (Angkor) and was founded by King Jayavarman. Construction took about 30 years. This building was originally built for is dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Hindu religion). The building has all the reliefs on its outer walls which told of Hindu mythology and the art of beauty. The Khmer empire that no longer has, the building was converted to a Buddhist temple and to preserve this building in 1992 set as one of the UNESCO world heritage sites.
Cardomom Mountain is a nature reserve in Cambodia. Nature reserves that are here called Samkos and Aural Wildlife Sanctuary. This place is often also referred to as desert only one left in Southeast Asia. Hundreds of flora and fauna are also found here. Other than that there are dozens of waterfalls and some streams that flow in the area. This place preserved by the government and local communities.
Silver Pagoda is located on the south side of the Royal Palace in Phnom Penh. Previously, it was known as Wat Ubosoth Ratanaram. The official name of Preah Vihear Preah Keo Morakot but is commonly referred to as Wat Preah Keo in Khmer. When rajaSihanouk government, this building was renovated by adding 5,000 silver tiles and marble mounted outside that have to come specifically from Italia. In this building, there is a statue of Buddha made of gold and decorated with 25-carat diamonds 9584 weighing 90 kg. This building is an official place of worship for the Cambodian king.
National Museum Of Cambodia is a place worth a visit while in Cambodia holiday. The building is a classic art depicting of traditional Khmer architecture. The building foundation was first laid on the 15th August 1917 and inaugurated on 13 April 1920 by King Sisowath. Inside the museum, there are many relics of ancient objects of antiquity. Other than that, this place also as one of the witnesses about the history of Cambodia is still standing to this day.
