Calling all you crazy cat people, this is the museum for you! Dedicated to all things cats, this museum has hundreds of paintings by famous artists like Picasso and Rembrandt. The museum itself is located inside a 17th century house that was used as a filming location for Ocean’s Twelve.



Welcome to the world’s first floating flower market! Here, the freshly bloomed flowers are sold from houseboats lining the canals. You can also buy bulbs to take home and grow your own Amsterdam flowers at home.



The 9 Streets

A.K.A. the Soho of Amsterdam, these nine streets are comprised of a variety of speciality shops ranging from jewellery to vintage treasure troves. With so much to see, you could easily pass a whole day wandering around the narrow streets. The 9 Streets are also home to some of the best, authentic Dutch restaurants in the city.



Amsterdam Riding School

Not only is this the oldest riding school in the Netherlands, but it is also one of the last riding school located within a city in the whole of Europe. In the upper level is a majestic foyer that beautifully captures the look and feel of the 19th Century Bourgeois and is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee before strolling through the stables to meet some of the beautiful horses.

In English, this bohemian neighbourhood is called The Pipe. In this residential area, you are sure to experience the Amsterdam many people simply don’t see.
