Köln Messe is ideally located in the very city center of Cologne. A lot of transport links help the visitors to reach the fairgrounds by train, car and local public transport. If you plan to visit the ISM Cologne 2017 by car you will be surprised how well connected it is to the highways and the main roads of Cologne. In general you need to follow the green signs marked “Koelnmesse”. Also have in mind that there are about 14500 parking spaces around the exhibition center. If you plan to visit the ISM Cologne 2017 by public transport as most of the people do you will have the chance to use your admission ticket as public transport ticket.

Our advice for accommodation inside Cologne will be to stay in the area of the Cologne Cathedral which is very close to the Cologne Hauptbahnhof ( central station ). A lot of reasonably priced hotels are located in this central zone of the city and you would be able to find suitable accommodation relatively easy. Some of the visitors/exhibitors prefer to be accommodated in the city of Dusseldorf which is around 40 km away but still well connected. Some of the budget oriented visitors prefer to stay outside Cologne in the villages of Mülheim an der Ruhr,Hürth or Rodenkirchen but in this case the car would be the only option to reach the exhibition center.
